About The Role

The Sales Associate role is a hybrid position combining in-person relationship building and remote prospecting, designed as a stepping stone toward a full Account Executive role.

You’ll support territory-based selling by generating qualified meetings, building relationships with healthcare providers, and learning how deals move from first conversation to close. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, is naturally curious, and wants to grow into a quota-carrying sales position over time.

What You’ll Do

Generate qualified meetings through a mix of:

  • In-person visits and relationship-building within your territory

  • Outbound prospecting (email, phone, LinkedIn)

  • Follow-up on inbound leads when assigned

Represent Impilo professionally in local markets through:

  • Office visits, lunch-and-learns, and community outreach

  • Conferences or local events as needed

Qualify prospects based on ICP, program readiness, and urgency

Sell the meeting” by creating interest and relevance, not pitching full solutions

  • Partner closely with assigned Account Executives to:
    Align on target accounts and outreach strategy

  • Share insights from the field

  • Support deal progression when needed

Maintain accurate activity and notes in HubSpot

Learn Impilo’s platform, pricing, and positioning over time

Participate in ongoing sales training and coaching

The Right Prescription (Requirements)

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer-facing, or healthcare-related roles

  • Comfortable speaking with healthcare professionals and office staff

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Highly organized with good follow-up habits

  • Willingness to be in the field and travel locally within territory

  • Coachable, curious, and motivated to grow into an Account Executive role

  • Bachelors degree required

Technical Boosters (Nice to Haves)

  • Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or health tech

  • Prior BDR, SDR, or sales experience

  • Field experience a plus

  • Interest in SaaS or healthcare technology sales

Career Path

This role is designed as a growth role. High-performing Sales Associates may progress to:

  • Associate Account Executive

  • Account Executive
