Respiratory Therapist (CPAP Training – Warehouse Based)

Location: Bridesburg, Philadelphia

Position Summary

We are seeking a licensed Respiratory Therapist (RT) to provide training to our warehouse staff on how to program CPAP machines in accordance with physician prescriptions. This is not a recurring operational role; the RT will conduct an initial training session (and potentially annual refreshers) to ensure staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to configure devices safely and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct staff training sessions on CPAP device programming, including:
  
  
  • Proper configuration of pressure settings, ramp, humidification, and comfort features.
    
    
  • Performing functional tests and quality checks before dispatch.
    
    
  • Documenting device setup and maintaining compliance records.
    
    
• Provide guidance on troubleshooting and reprogramming processes.
  
  
• Serve as a subject matter expert for CPAP device setup to support long-term staff competency.

Qualifications

• Active RT license.
  
  
• Prior experience with CPAP devices and manufacturer software (e.g., ResMed, Philips).
  
  
• Strong teaching and communication skills; able to explain technical steps clearly to non-clinical staff.
  
  
• Attention to detail and knowledge of compliance and safety standards.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs during training demonstrations.
  
  
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with minimal patient contact.
