Impilo is building the infrastructure layer for remote healthcare.
The Problem
Operating a remote healthcare program is hard. A lot has to happen before a patient can receive care remotely: Medical devices are procured, stored in inventory, and shipped to patients. When a device arrives at a patient’s home, it needs to be set up and the patient is educated on how to use the device. Finally, any data that the device produces has to be sent to the healthcare provider in a way that is useful and actionable.
Healthcare providers want to spend their time providing healthcare; they don’t want to deal with device logistics and technical support. In general, healthcare providers need a platform for running their remote healthcare.
Our Solution
Impilo is solving this problem by building the infrastructure layer for remote healthcare. We handle device logistics for remote healthcare programs and integrate with the devices directly to receive patient readings. Once readings are being taken, we can provide various operational alerts and reporting to help our customers run their programs more effectively.
Some Technical Details
Our tech stack is Angular + Spring Boot + PostgreSQL, and we run on AWS. We’re a small team. Our work style most closely resembles Kanban, and we value frequent communication with fast iteration loops.
The Role
This role is for a staff software engineer to be an early member of our core team. This is a technical leadership role in engineering. You will own architectural decisions and mentor other engineers as the team grows.
