About the Role:
As a Tactical Buyer at Greeneye, you will play a key role in ensuring that our teams have the materials, equipment, and services they need to succeed. This position combines hands-on procurement execution with supplier management and cross-departmental collaboration. You will manage the entire procurement cycle, negotiate with suppliers, and support both operational and strategic initiatives that drive the company forward. This is a dynamic role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process: collecting quotations, issuing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries.
- Maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers, including negotiations to optimize costs and improve terms.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers according to company needs.
- Collaborate closely with the Finance Department: invoice approvals, supplier payment tracking.
- Handle procurement for all company departments: production, R&D, subcontractors, office equipment, and more.
- Work with shipping and logistics companies - manage and monitor ongoing activities.
- Provide operational support to the procurement and engineering teams.
- Maintain and update procurement data in the ERP system (significant advantage for experience with Priority).
Requirements:
- Relevant academic degree: B.A. in Logistics / Industrial Engineering & Management / Business Administration.
- 2-4 years of proven experience in a similar role.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Priority.
- Basic proficiency in Excel.
- Strong negotiation skills, organizational ability, personal responsibility, and ability to work independently.
- High service orientation, positive attitude, and strong teamwork skills.
- Advantage: experience in a startup or technological environment.
Position Details:
- Location: Tel Aviv, Israel - conveniently close to public transportation and a train station.
- Employment: Full-time, hybrid (1–2 days from home).
