About the Role:

Botpress is seeking a Director of Solution Engineering to lead and scale our Solution Engineering team. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a deep technical background and a passion for driving customer success through innovative AI solutions. You will play a critical role in guiding our technical strategy, overseeing solution development, and ensuring seamless implementation of our AI agent platform for enterprise clients. This role will oversee pre-sales, post-sales, technical account management, and support operations.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor the Solution Engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

- Develop and execute technical strategies to support sales and customer success teams.

- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of custom AI solutions for enterprise clients.

- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure our platform meets customer needs and market demands.

- Serve as a technical advisor and trusted resource for clients, providing insights and recommendations on AI implementation.

- Drive continuous improvement of solution engineering processes and methodologies.

- Oversee pre-sales, post-sales, technical account management, and support operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.

- Represent Botpress at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- Minimum of 8 years experience in solution engineering, software development, or a related technical role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.

- Strong background in AI, machine learning, or natural language processing.

- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical solutions to enterprise clients.

- Experience working in a hyper-growth environment, preferably at a venture-capital-backed startup.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex technical challenges.

- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required.
