Director / VP of Operations

What you'll be doing as a Director / VP of Operations:
- Develop operational strategies and business models
- Design and establish standardized, scalable workflows that seamlessly connect across teams. Leverage operating disciplines to create alignment and adoption
- Optimize across people, process, and technologies to develop solutions that increase workforce productivity while maintaining a high level of quality
- Identify and remove operational bottlenecks that may hinder expansion
- Work closely with other departments, including Engineering, Finance, Product, Sales, and Customer Office, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of goals with broader company objectives
- Analyze resource allocation, budgets, and assess vendor relationships to optimize costs while maintaining high standards of quality
- Establish key performance indicators and use data to make informed decisions, track progress, and implement improvements in operations
- Ensure that the company complies with all relevant regulations and industry standards. Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect the company's interests
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and innovation
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for executive leadership and investors, highlighting key operational achievements, challenges, and recommendations
- Support day to day operational tasks, as well as the planning and execution of corporate events and meetings.
Job Qualifications and Skill Set:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- Proven experience (at least 5 years) in a leadership role overseeing operations, preferably within a tech startup environment
- Successful track record of scaling global operations in a high-growth environment
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills with the ability to think and act strategically
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and mentor teams to achieve goals.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with relevant industry software and tools
- Deep understanding of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic startup environment.
