Director / VP of Operations

What you'll be doing as a Director / VP of Operations:

  • Develop operational strategies and business models  
  • Design and establish standardized, scalable workflows that seamlessly connect across teams. Leverage operating disciplines to create alignment and adoption
  • Optimize across people, process, and technologies to develop solutions that increase workforce productivity while maintaining a high level of quality
  • Identify and remove operational bottlenecks that may hinder expansion
  • Work closely with other departments, including Engineering, Finance, Product, Sales, and Customer Office, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of goals with broader company objectives
  • Analyze resource allocation, budgets, and assess vendor relationships to optimize costs while maintaining high standards of quality 
  • Establish key performance indicators and use data to make informed decisions, track progress, and implement improvements in operations 
  • Ensure that the company complies with all relevant regulations and industry standards. Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect the company's interests 
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and innovation
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for executive leadership and investors, highlighting key operational achievements, challenges, and recommendations
  • Support day to day operational tasks, as well as the planning and execution of corporate events and meetings.

Job Qualifications and Skill Set:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience (at least 5 years) in a leadership role overseeing operations, preferably within a tech startup environment
  • Successful track record of scaling global operations in a high-growth environment
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills with the ability to think and act strategically
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and mentor teams to achieve goals. 


  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with relevant industry software and tools
  • Deep understanding of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic startup environment.
