We are looking for a skilled and highly driven Lead NLP Engineer with expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) to join our team. The perfect candidate will possess a visionary mindset, capable of overseeing and driving innovative projects and leading a talented engineering team. Your role will be focused on the advancement of our NLP solutions across the legal and financial sectors, from enhancing question-answering capabilities to creating groundbreaking LLM agents to work with unstructured data.

What you'll be doing as a Lead NLP Engineer:

• Lead and Mentor: Guide a team of NLP engineers, instilling best practices in LLMOps and ensuring that the team is aligned with company goals.
• Design, build, and deploy: Create LLM-based solutions for diverse applications, including question-answering systems, search engines, content generation, and task-solving agents.
• Research and Development: Stay ahead of the latest advancements in NLP and LLM technologies, frameworks, and libraries, and leverage these insights to innovate within our products.
• Collaborate across Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to establish product requirements, deliver top-quality solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
• Optimization: Fine-tune LLM models for enhanced performance, efficiency, and accuracy, utilizing cutting-edge techniques and tools.
• Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain thorough documentation for implemented solutions and foster a learning environment within the team.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve issues related to LLM usage in production scenarios, maintaining high reliability and performance.

Job Qualifications and Skill Set:

• Expertise in LLMs: Solid experience working with models such as GPT3/4 and Llama/ T5/ BERT, and NLP frameworks like Hugging Face Transformers, PyTorch/JAX.
• LLMOps Knowledge: Familiarity with Auto-GPT, Langchain, LlamaIndex, Guidance and VectorDBs.
• Programming Skills: Demonstrated skills in Python3, with a strong understanding of efficient algorithms and software design patterns.
• Development Best Practices: Familiarity with version control, testing, Docker and CI/CD (git, jenkins, gitlab etc) .
• Leadership: Proven leadership and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to inspire and guide a dynamic, cross-functional team. Experience managing a team of 3 or more people

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Commercialization experience with ChatGPT or GPT3/4 for business applications.
• Ability to innovate using 101 different prompts.
• Technical PR such as victories in competitions/hackathons, open LLM/NLP projects on GitHub.
• Participation in early-stage startups, accelerators, or entrepreneurial experience.
