About the role:
We are looking for someone for the role of Internal Systems Product Manager. This role is a hybrid of a typical Business Systems Analyst and Systems Product Manager, where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to own the internal system “product” strategy, roadmap, and detailed technical requirements as determined by key stakeholders.
Our ideal candidate has:
- BS or MS in Engineering or Information Systems
- 7+ years of experience defining requirements and/or leading implementing enterprise systems
- Significant experience with Netsuite and Salesforce
What you’ll be doing:
- Requirements: Analyze current issues and gather requirements from stakeholders (sales, finance, operations, etc.) to understand problems and opportunities.
- Product Strategy and Roadmap: Define the internal system product strategy and roadmap. Determine which features and functionalities are most important and how they align with the overall business goals.
- Prioritization and Roadmap Planning: Prioritize features and functions based on business value, user needs, and technical feasibility. Create and manage the product roadmap, outlining the planned releases and updates for the systems.
- Use Case Documentation: Translate business requirements into user stories, use cases, and other documentation that the digital business team uses for development.
- Product Documentation: Create and review documentation of product features and functionality with key stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and use.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that their needs are being met. Communicate regularly about the product roadmap, progress updates, and any changes to plan.
- Collaborate with Digital Business Team: Work with the Digital Business team to ensure that the systems are being developed and deployed per the roadmap.
Testing and Validation: Participate in testing and validating that the systems meet the requirements and user needs.
