Tabs is an AI-powered revenue automation platform for B2B businesses. Using the power of AI, Tabs is able to understand and extract elements from even the most complex B2B contracts and then power automated billing, revenue recognition and reporting workflows. Our customers use Tabs to eliminate manual work, collect cash faster, streamline operations, and increase business model flexibility. Tabs is based in New York and is funded by top-tier VCs Lightspeed and Primary Ventures.

The software team at Tabs currently consists of seven engineers, two product managers, and two designers. Our team works primarily from our office (4 days a week) at 22 Vanderbilt Ave in Midtown Manhattan.

About the Role

We are seeking a Product Manager (PM) with substantial experience in the fields of Corporate Finance or Accounting to join our team in New York. Reporting directly to the Head of Product and working with the entire software team, you will help determine the future direction of Tabs.

Specifically, your first few months will include research directly with our existing and prospective customers. With executive presence and experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or public accounting, we expect you will be able to extract key insights from these research subjects. You will also serve as an internal expert to teammates on Customer Experience, Design, Product, and Sales. By helping us to understand how our platform fits into the needs of B2B Controllers and FP&A teams, we will build a more impactful and sticky product.

What You’ll Do

Work directly with our customers (we call them merchants) to understand how our product can help them and where their workflows can be augmented by Tabs software
Research and analyze potential feature opportunities for Tabs software while also gaining a deep understanding of pain points for our end users
Build relationships with customers and monitor feedback to help inform our strategic product direction and optimize offerings
Collaborate with cross-functional teams like customer experience, engineering, marketing, and sales to help determine the direction of the product and GTM strategy

About You

5+ years of professional experience in the areas of Corporate Finance, FP&A, and Accounting
Deep understanding of corporate finance principles and accounting practices
Executive presence when working with external stakeholders and customers
Ability to translate and breakdown complex financial concepts and the math that underlies them to non-technical team members
Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
