Our customers use Tabs to eliminate manual work, collect cash faster, streamline operations, and increase business model flexibility. Tabs is based in New York and is funded by top-tier VCs Lightspeed and Primary Ventures.
The software team at Tabs currently consists of seven engineers, two product managers, and two designers. Our team works primarily from our office (4 days a week) at 22 Vanderbilt Ave in Midtown Manhattan.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to join our team in New York. Reporting to the Head of Product and as a part of the product team, you will represent our customers in discussions of the platform’s direction, educate internal teams (including Sales and Customer Experience), and own the rollout of new features to prospective and current customers.
In defining the strategy for marketing our products and features, you can work with our internal teammates, external creative talent we have already contracted, or you can source your own resources as needed. Your strategy may include still imagery, written copy, videos, webinars, and more – whatever you believe will be most impactful.
What You’ll Do
Speak with current customers (we call them merchants) to understand what our product does well and where their workflows can be augmented by Tabs software
Participate in software team conversations to relay your learnings and drive the direction of what we build next
Plot the internal and external education of upcoming features and execute on them with creative resources
Manage the release of that education in tandem with new feature rollout

Write out explanations of what Tabs software does for use by Sales or our customers. This can be used as internal documentation, within the App experience, or in marketing materials to prospective and existing customers.
Who You Are
You have 4+ years of experience in product marketing at a high-growth B2B software company, ideally in the fintech space or selling to the office of the CFO
Your portfolio includes a proven track record of speaking to internal and external audiences in a way that they understand and can drive their action
An exceptional visual and written communicator who can communicate clearly in your work and justify your decisions
Ability to work effectively and creatively in a resource constrained environment
Experience working in the finance industry or on a fintech product is a plus
