The Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports the recruitment efforts by managing administrative tasks, coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, and assisting with onboarding activities. The coordinator ensures that the hiring process runs efficiently and provides a positive candidate experience. They will be a huge support to contributing to the talent base of Qashio.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers across multiple departments.
  • Manage communication with candidates, including sending confirmations, reminders, and post-interview follow-ups.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for out-of-town candidates, if necessary.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring candidate records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Help draft job descriptions and ensure they align with the company’s needs and values.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate fit for the role.
  • Screen resumes to shortlist candidates based on predefined criteria.
  • Help new hires with onboarding tasks such as completing forms, background checks, and setting up their first day.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation logistics.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the recruitment process and make recommendations to optimise efficiency.
  • Communicate and coordinate applicants directly with recruitment agencies and other external partners when needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience within a recruitment role.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace suites.
  • Relationship management skills and a can-do attitude when presented with challenges.
  • Highly motivated with a proven track record of achieving set goals.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage the pipeline independently as well as collaborate with the external team members.
  • A bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Psychology, Human Resources or a similar business related field would be ideal.
