We have an outstanding data science organization, with a mission to enable the highest quality decision-making. We work throughout the company - in the product, business, and platform teams - using analysis, experimentation, causal inference, and machine learning techniques. We are uniquely placed to use data to help make better decisions and improve data literacy across Preply.

You’ll be embedded in a cross-functional team and work closely with our MarTech Product Manager, Marketeers, Tech Leads and Data Strategy teams.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Be responsible for our end-to-end attribution through optimal tracking and incrementality testing with a focus on mobile and App tracking;
  • Define and audit all marketing tracking across networks (GAds, Meta, Bing, GAC..) including server-to-server. Establish the required governance processes;
  • Drive the implementation of the best configuration to extract maximum value from our measurement and analytics partners (Adjust, Incrmntal) ;
  • Coordinate incrementality tests to inform the true value of our channels. You will define conditions for success and perform the concluding analysis to evaluate the channel performance;
  • Continuously monitor the data-privacy ecosystem and develop solutions to continue to enable the evaluation of tactical campaigns as well as budget allocation decisions;
  • Introduce marketing mix modeling solutions to continuously improve our channel understanding;
  • All of the above will be done in close collaboration with MarTech, Marketing and Data Strategy teams.

What you need to succeed:

  • At least 5 years experience as Data Scientist/Analyst focused on Performance Marketing Optimization;
  • Experience with experimentation platforms and tracking definition;
  • You have strong experience in contributing to attribution models and how to evolve them in a cookie-less and mobile first world;
  • You understand deeply the latest developments in the different marketing channels and measurement frameworks;
  • You have knowledge of app marketing;
  • Creative mindset and proactive attitude towards the creation and evaluation of new solutions;
  • Strong curiosity, problem solving and problem finding skills;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English;
  • Knowledge of quantitative fields (statistics, mathematics, etc.);
  • Proficiency with analytical tools like R/Python and familiarity with SQL.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with causal inference techniques;
  • Previous experience with Databricks;
  • Knowledge of Amplitude, Mixpanel or other product analytics tools;
  • Knowledge of coordination tools (Airflow, Luigi, Jenkins, etc.);
  • Previous experience in Marketplaces and/or digital businesses.
