About Elveo

Elveo is what happens when two pioneers in direct-to-device (D2D) communications join forces. Elveo brings together a combined 20 years of expertise to close the coverage gap for more than 50 mobile network operators (MNOs) and major distribution partners operating in 60+ countries worldwide.

That heritage and our technology powers what we call ‘elevated intelligence’ — a new approach that processes and adapts on orbit, delivering voice and data services straight to mobile users, IoT devices and machines across enterprise, government and humanitarian sectors worldwide.

As a team, we’re on a mission to deliver powerful compute and connectivity directly to individuals and objects everywhere on Earth.

Join us, and become part of a globally inclusive company that is transforming satellite communications from a niche service to an essential global infrastructure, and democratizing connectivity for billions worldwide.

Ready to take the next step? Join us.

Help Us Connect the World

Elveo is seeking talented students interested in internship opportunities across our engineering organization.

We are particularly interested in students pursuing degrees in:

  • Aerospace Engineering

  • Computer Engineering

  • Computer Science

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Other related STEM disciplines

Students with interests or experience in areas such as satellite systems, telecommunications, wireless communications, software-defined radio, embedded systems, robotics, spacecraft design, propulsion, RF engineering, software development, testing, and systems engineering are encouraged to apply.

About the Internship

Interns at Elveo have the opportunity to contribute to real engineering work supporting the development, integration, testing, and operation of satellite and telecommunications systems.

Depending on your background and the needs of the team, you may work alongside engineers across areas such as mechanical and spacecraft design, electrical systems, RF and wireless communications, flight software, embedded systems, propulsion, testing, systems engineering, and other technical disciplines.

Our interns are integrated directly into project teams and given meaningful ownership of their work. You’ll have the opportunity to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to technical challenges alongside experienced engineers.

Qualifications

We are looking for students who:

  • Are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD program in engineering, computer science, or another relevant STEM field.

  • Demonstrate strong technical problem-solving skills and an interest in hands-on engineering.

  • Work well in collaborative, fast-paced environments.

  • Have experience through coursework, research, engineering project teams, student organizations, personal projects, internships, or other technical work.

  • Have exposure to relevant engineering tools, programming languages, laboratory equipment, design software, or technical platforms appropriate to their area of study.
