Job Summary

The IT Support Engineer will serve as the primary point of contact for end user technical issues at Lynk Global, ensuring staff have the tools and support they need to work effectively. This role combines hands-on hardware and software support with systems administration, asset management, and user training. This position is based from our office in Chevy Chase, MD and will require some travel to our offices in Chantilly, VA as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for end user technical issues

  • Provision hardware including laptops, printers, telephones, and other equipment

  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems

  • Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues

  • Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, Office 365, ESET, and related systems

  • Document IT processes and maintain accurate asset inventory

  • Procure hardware and software as needed

  • Provide end user training and support

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience providing end user technical support

  • Hands-on experience with Windows 10 and macOS operating systems

  • Experience managing users and groups in Active Directory and Office 365

  • Experience using MDM platforms such as ManageEngine, Intune, or similar

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience

Bonus

  • Experience with PowerShell or other scripting tools

  • Familiarity with AWS

  • Interest in branching into security, cloud, or development

  • Previous startup experience is a strong plus
