Overview:

As a Sr. Manager / Director of Strategy and Operations:

In this role you will:

  • Develop strategic plans and work cross functionally to ensure alignment and execution of key operational including product launches, process improvements, and strategic projects.
  • Develop and implement robust project management methodologies, tools, and frameworks to keep teams on task and timelines, driving accountability and ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Utilize data and metrics to monitor, analyze, and optimize operational performance, identifying trends, insights, and areas for improvement to drive continuous operational excellence.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market research, competitive analyses, market sizing exercises, analytics, and industry benchmarking to identify new opportunities, including partnerships, and to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Work on a range of projects, including: pricing new products, researching competitors and partners, sizing markets (products, geographies, etc.), analyzing and depicting data, working with leadership to ensure cohesion across teams and accountability in execution.
  • Assist with Board of Director meeting materials and presentations for capital raising.
  • Prepare and present reports, presentations, and business cases to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

What we consider critical for this role:

  • Objectivity, empathy, humility, polish, analytical thinking, and organizational capabilities.
  • 2+ years working in an early stage startup, preferably in AI or enterprise SaaS, in Product Management, Chief of Staff, or FP&A capacity.
  • 2+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, private equity, investment banking, or related roles, preferably in the tech industry or ecommerce sector.
  • Strong analytical skills, and high attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • An ability to balance thoroughness with speed.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.

Compensation is competitive and will be determined based on a combination of experience, seniority, internal, external equity and location. For some context: this position in the US would pay between $167,500-$180,000 USD per year, depending on experience and seniority. In other regions, compensation will be adjusted for local currency and local market rates. Lily AI compensation policy is calculated with a focus on equity and where employees can thrive.
