We have an exciting junior data position available for a Junior Data Specialist \ Researcher. We’re seeking a passionate data enthusiast eager to grow with our team!
What you’ll do in the first 6 months:
- Participate in data collection processes
- Use MySQL to extract data for reporting and analysis
- Search and gather relevant data from open sources (for ex. Google)
- Analyze datasets using Google Sheets / Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts)
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in Ukrainian and English
- Work with existing Python scripts used for automation and reporting

What you’ll do after the first 6 months:
- Analyze current data processes and suggest optimizations
- Conduct research and explore new approaches to improve our data-driven decisions
- Develop algorithms and models to generate business insights and scalable solutions
- Work with pandas and other Python libraries to handle larger, more complex datasets
- Identify key trends, patterns, and actionable insights from collected data
Skills:
- Proficiency with Google Sheets / Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts)
- Basic understanding of Python (functions, loops, data manipulation)
- Basic understanding of SQL (SELECT queries, filtering, joins)
- Ability to work with large datasets and structure them effectively
- Upper-Intermediate English (B1-B2 or higher)
- High attention to detail and accuracy in working with data
- Ability to manage multiple requests and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Fast learner
- Excellent internet research skills
- Punctual, reliable, and proactive in communication
