Timezone- EU Hours (13:30 PM IST- 22:30 PM IST)

Reports to: Head of Product

Location: Bangalore, Onsite 5 days per week

Key Relationships: Business Development, Customer Success, Product and Engineering teams

Job Purpose:

Easyship is a shipping technology platform connecting sellers and marketplaces to couriers—and powering customized, end-to-end logistics solutions. We’re seeking an experienced Product Manager with strong payments and fraud/risk exposure (in e-commerce or logistics) to own initiatives across checkout, payments, risk, and post-purchase flows. You’ll define problem statements and solutions, align with our product vision, and coordinate with design/engineering to ship features that reduce fraud loss, improve authorization rates, and streamline payouts and reconciliation—ultimately driving trust and profitability for our merchants.

What you’ll do:

• Shape and execute the roadmap across payments & risk (checkout, PSP integrations, 3-D Secure/SCA, tokenization, chargeback handling, dispute tooling, payouts, reconciliation, pricing/fees).
• Prioritize using ROI frameworks; balance conversion, fraud loss, and operational cost to maximize business impact.
• Lead delivery from discovery → release → post-release, setting clear success metrics (e.g., auth rate, fraud rate, chargeback ratio, payment latency, payout timeliness, support tickets).
• Partner with engineering, data, finance, risk ops, support, and logistics teams to deliver resilient, compliant flows (KYC/KYB/AML considerations where applicable).
• Deep-dive merchant and buyer journeys to remove friction, improve trust, and lift conversion across domestic and cross-border scenarios.
• Stay current on market/PSP capabilities, risk signals, SCA/PCI/AML trends, and competitor tactics; convert insights into backlog items and experiments.
• Translate operational realities (warehouse/fulfilment constraints, delivery promises, duties/taxes) into payment/risk product decisions (e.g., partial captures, split payments, COD risk rules).

Who you are:

• 4+ years Product Management experience, ideally in e-commerce, fintech, or logistics with hands-on payments and/or fraud/risk ownership.
• Strong grasp of payment fundamentals: PSPs, gateways, auth/capture/void/refund, tokens, ledgers, payouts, reconciliation; familiarity with fraud tooling (rules, device signals, ML, 3DS/SCA), chargebacks, and dispute flows.
• Data-first operator comfortable with funnels, experimentation, and trade-off modeling (conversion vs. fraud loss vs. ops cost).
• Proven prioritization and crisp problem framing; can influence across distributed global teams.
• Excellent written/verbal communication; highly organized, resourceful, and entrepreneurial.
• Cross-border payments experience.
• COD risk, platform/marketplace payouts, PCI considerations, KYC/KYB/AML workflows, or shipping/warehouse domain knowledge.
