Role- Operations Quality Assurance Lead
Location- Glendale Heights, Chicago, Illinois (Onsite)
Reports to- Claire Maher, Senior Program Manager
Key Relationships- Internal - Warehouse Manager, Senior Program Managers, Head of Compliance External - Key Client
Salary: Up to $45,000 per annum.
Job Purpose: Easyship is a shipping platform that connects sellers and marketplaces to couriers. At our Glendale Heights hub we support enterprise-level eCommerce marketplaces that utilize Easyship’s technology, operations, and courier resources to deliver orders to their customers globally. We’re looking for a candidate who loves working in a busy logistics environment and has a strong focus on process, quality and compliance. The Quality Assurance Lead will monitor adherence to SOPs by conducting regular compliance & quality audits. The QA lead will compile and share regular reporting on the delivery of a quality service and overall compliance as well as supporting in process improvements to drive quality and compliance
What you'll do:
- Review the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the e-fulfillment operation; ensuring all essential processes are clearly documented and easy to digest. Work with the hub management to address any gaps in documentation
- Conduct regular audits to ensure SOPs are being effectively followed and monitoring processes are in place and working well
- Conduct quality checks on associate’s work to ensure adherence to SOPs and high quality standards
- Conduct regular quality checks of customer service tickets shared with the main client to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly data on the results of all quality checks and audits
- Identify process and training gaps and work with hub management to address gaps
- Support in identification of areas for improvement and work with hub management team to implement sustainable improvements
- Support change management process within the hub
- Work with Operations Managers to ensure all SOPs are kept up to date with changes in processes, equipment or technology
Who you are:
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish highly desirable
- Highly process orientated individual with strong attention to detail
- Problem solving and analytical skills are highly desirable
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment with a focus on continual improvement and technological innovation
- Experience working in eCommerce, 3PL, Parcel/Post, or Logistics industries would be highly advantageous
- Be an owner; openly challenge the status quo to ensure optimal outcomes
- Ability to prioritize critical and time-sensitive tasks
