Job Title: HR Generalist
Reports to: Head of HR
Location: London
Key Relationships: All business stakeholders.
Job Purpose:
As an HR Generalist, you'll support HR processes, handle administrative tasks, and maintain employee records, fostering a positive employee experience. Ideal for someone with organizational skills and a passion for HR to contribute to our organization's success. As a generalist you will focus on a number of different HR related activities.
What you’ll do:
New Employee Onboarding:
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.
- Conduct orientation sessions to familiarise new employees with company policies, culture, and workplace expectations.
- Arrange workspaces and office supplies for new employees to create a comfortable and productive environment.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing their HR-related inquiries and providing assistance where necessary.
- Identify and recognise complex or sensitive employee relations issues that require higher-level intervention and attention.
- Collaborate with the HR team to evaluate employee concerns, complaints, or conflicts that may require the involvement of the HR Manager.
- Provide a thorough and detailed summary of the issue, including relevant facts, context, and any prior actions taken, to the HR Manager for their review and consideration.
HR Policy Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal requirements related to employment practices.
- Assist in organising and conducting HR-related training sessions to educate employees about company policies.
Integration and Social Activities:
- Organize social activities and team-building events to help new employees integrate into the company culture and build relationships with their colleagues.
General Administrative and Office Support:
- Assist with general office administration tasks and provide administrative support to the HR department as required.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as an HR Generalist or similar administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Familiarity with HR software and systems for record-keeping and data management.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.
