Production Operations Assistant
Corvus Robotics
About Corvus
Every physical good spends time in a warehouse, and every warehouse tracks their inventory. Today, nearly 100% of warehouses track their inventory manually using barcode scanners and climbing forklifts.
We're Corvus Robotics. Our fully autonomous Corvus One™ drones use computer vision & robotics to automatically track inventory, improving worker safety and increasing labor efficiency. We believe that data-driven, safe inventory management will optimize the global physical economy and improve economic prosperity for humanity.
What we're seeking
We're looking for a hands-on operations specialist to integrate deeply with our entire production workflow—from manufacturing through deployment. This role is foundational to our physical operations and the ideal candidate will thrive in our fast-moving startup environment while optimizing processes for robotics production & logistics.
The ideal candidate will not only execute daily operational tasks but also actively improve upon them, iterating and streamlining processes to make them scalable, automated, and error-resistant. Over time, your work will become a key pillar in helping us run and grow a robust, resilient production engine.
Specifically, in this role you will:
Receive, put away, and kit inventory based on production plans and Bill of Materials (BOM)
Maintain and improve internal production tooling and dashboards that track inventory levels, production rate, yield, and other key operational metrics
Be well-versed in hardware production processes, materials, finishes, and quality standards
Communicate and coordinate with vendors on orders, lead times, and pricing
Contribute in developing iterative processes to automate, simplify, and error-proof various stages of production—providing a strong operational backbone for both manufacturing and deployments
This role is in-person in Mountain View, CA. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds, including recent grads and international students. The ideal candidate is organized, driven, and committed to growing & learning quickly.
Must have
Experience owning projects (professional and/or academic) that are time-sensitive, operationally heavy, and resource-constrained
Demonstrated ability to learn new tasks quickly and proactively—especially in hands-on or fast-paced environments
Willingness to roll up your sleeves (sometimes literally) to work with hardware, tools, and components
Strong organizational skills in coordinating people, parts, and processes, with attention to detail and awareness of downstream impact
Nice to have
Multi-lingual or international background, especially with fluency in spoken and/or written Mandarin
Exposure to supply chain, manufacturing, or robotics through coursework, internships, or projects
Experience in hands-on work such as visual arts, crafts, woodworking, or other trades
