We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Full Stack developer to join the Botpress team and build the future of AI Agents. With over 350,000 users since last year's launch, come join a fast-growing startup. Someone who excels with both front-end and back-end programming, all in Typescript. The Senior Full-Stack Developer is responsible for developing and designing front-end web architecture and scalable backend code on his own from Day One.

As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you will participate in current initiatives and lead a project from conception to final product, requiring excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Full autonomy and creativity are super important in our team. You will be expected to solve challenging problems on your own. It sounds rough, but that’s how we succeed.

Responsibilities

• Own the products and understand the requirements to ensure fast and accurate development of new or better features.
• Work with the core engineering team to develop & maintain the Botpress Platform.
• Be the platform expert, knowing all the ins and outs of Botpress, and guide customers to build great AI Agent experiences.
• Write unit and end-to-end tests for mission-critical features
• Clean up technical debt while keeping a forefront view
• Get in touch with the community and come up with new ideas to make the Botpress Studio and our other products a success
• Build tools, write sample code, and contribute to product development to resolve user issues
• Contribute to product documentation

Requirements

• A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in software development or programming in a similar environment, including Typescript, React.js, Node, PostgreSQL, Redis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (French is an advantage)
• A deep interest in AI Agents, voice- and chat-based user experiences
• Well-organized, excellent work ethic, pays attention to detail, and self-starting
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup and passionate about improving technical abilities
